Celebrations and Meetings

The Stiftung Schloss Dyck rents out various function rooms within the magical setting of an extraordinary castle.

Be it for private celebrations, concerts, conferences or presentations and exhibitions, the moated castle, originally founded on four islands, offers attractive and stimulating surroundings.

Schloss Dyck - one of the most important cultural monuments in the Lower Rhine - is set within an English landscaped park. With the foundation of the Centre for Garden Art and Landscape Design new, superior garden areas and different exhibitions in the castle were established. Moreover, historical castle rooms were refurbished for events.

Independent from the castle's exhibitions and visitor-centric activities, a variety of rooms in the castle's south wing or in the Tea House and the Orangery located on the Orangery peninsula are available for functions. The historic ballroom located in the castle's east wing may also be used for cultural events as long as the preservation concerns are respected and it does not conflict with any exhibition usage.

Renting the function rooms also offers the possibility to make use of the park and gardens, the children playgrounds and the exhibitions in the castle and the stable yard. Likewise, tours of the park and the diverse exhibitions may be booked. The prices for the tours range between € 5 and € 55 depending on their length/scope. Entrance fees for the park and castle are available at a reduced rate of € 2.50 per person instead of € 6. Admission is free for children under the age of 6. Admission tickets may be purchased in advance, and can, for instance, be sent out together with the invitation.

For the usage of the functions rooms, a rental agreement will be drawn up between the event organiser and the Stiftung Schloss Dyck.
